Rebecca comes from a legacy of music and began studying violin at the age of three after listening to her grandmother play. Choosing music as her career, she majored in violin performance and music education in college. 

Rebecca has contributed to The Haywire Hopefuls by recording violin parts for the songs “Stop and Drop It“, "More of You”, "To Young Men Only", "Inside the Fall", “House”, “Dollar”, “Make Us More”, "Common Ties" and “About That Time”.

I’ve been around and involved in music pretty much my entire life, but I’m really just a pretty average guy who would love to leave his mark in the music world somehow, some way….

I write, record, produce, engineer, perform, mix, and master music in many styles for many different artists and bands while managing to integrate some of my own music in there, too. I play and perform in an original band called Radiodust and have also licensed a fair amount of my music into television for background tracks. I’m very lucky to have the support of my amazing wife, and it’s a dream in motion getting to work with so many talented people every day.

John has contributed to The Haywire Hopefuls by recording drums and bass parts for the songs “More of You” “Make Us More”, "Inside the Fall" and “About That Time”. He also played piano on “House”.

I play steel guitar, Dobro, and banjo and have been playing professionally for over 30 years. I started playing music in Visalia, California in the 1970s. I moved to San Luis Obispo, on the California coast, in 1976 and started playing music for a living.

My first full time work was as the house band of a local restaurant called 1865. That lasted for about six months, then I got an offer to play with a band working up and down the California coast called The Brava Band.

A couple of years later I moved to LA (Beautiful Downtown Burbank) and did a bit of road work for various artists. In 1980, I toured in the northwest states and Canada with a group called Wild Horse Theater. When that ground to a halt, I headed back to sunny California and played around San Luis Obispo with various groups.

In 1983, while on a tour from California to the Great White North, I was asked to join a Canadian group called The Lonestar Cattle Company. We had several records with good airplay and toured back and forth across Canada with some success (very little of it financial) until 1987.

These days I am working as a freelance musician, and I am doing a lot of shows and studio work with many Canadian artists.

Smokey has contributed to The Haywire Hopefuls by recording steel guitar parts for the song “Make Us More”.

Rio de Janeiro native Leandro Chernicharo first picked up a guitar at the age of 14. After countless hours of practice alongside his cousin, he formed his first band at 16, armed with his beloved Fender Stratocaster. The band's sound was rock-oriented, with a touch of humor in the lyrics.

Over time, Chernicharo began composing more mature songs, exploring political and romantic themes. His bands performed at various festivals, receiving positive reviews. By the age of 18, he was already teaching guitar and bass to support his studies and purchase equipment.

A self-taught musician, Chernicharo's talent was recognized by Brazilian music legend Michael Sullivan, who invited him to join his band. This significant opportunity allowed Chernicharo to hone his skills as a composer, musician, and arranger.

In recent years, Chernicharo has been working with the Rio de Janeiro-based band Ázzus. They have released several well-received songs and performed at prestigious events like the 35th edition of the EXAPICOR festival in Resende.

Chernicharo has his own home studio where he produces his own music and works on projects for other artists, handling recording, production, and mixing. A versatile musician, he is a skilled composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and arranger. His music spans various genres, showcasing his experience and sensitivity.

In 2007, Chernicharo independently released his debut solo album, "What Lies Underneath," featuring mostly instrumental tracks. The album gained international recognition, reaching audiences in the United States and Europe. This success encouraged him to release his second album, "Neverending Trip," in 2009. This album showcased his growth as a musician, producer, and arranger with more mature and sophisticated compositions.

Chernicharo spent two years in São Paulo, teaching guitar, bass, and home recording, as well as recording and producing music for emerging artists. During this time, he studied under legendary Brazilian rock guitarist Eduardo Ardanuy, focusing on harmony and improvisation.

Back in Rio de Janeiro, Chernicharo continues to expand his musical horizons. In addition to recording and producing, he performs live as a solo artist or with a band, playing at various events and venues.

Leandro has contributed to The Haywire Hopefuls by recording electric guitar parts for the songs “Stop and Drop It“, "About That Time", "Inside the Fall"  and “Make Us More”.

Harley Wright has played professionally for over 10 years. He has played in CrashFour, Stepping Feet, and The Red Not Chili Peppers.

Rob Hill grew up listening to his father play bass and guitar. By age 11, Rob picked up his dad’s Rickenbacker bass and was immediately hooked. While attending high school, he joined the orchestra and jazz choir, which eventually inspired Hill to attend Boise State University where he received a Bachelor of Music with a performance emphasis. While attending Boise State in 1994, he collaborated with Dan Costello and Scott Lindbloom, which would solidify the core of musicians known as Stella.

Rob Hill’s keen ear and bass playing style has been a hot commodity in Boise’s local music scene. As an educator and performer, he has accompanied and been featured by Kelly Martin and Rebecca Martin from Crash Four, Jeremiah James, Rebecca Scott, Gizzard Stone, and Ben Burdick.

Jake plays in the band Audio Moonshine, a Boise-bred rock and roll band, fueled by their northwest roots and distilled with a hint of classic-country attitude. AMs key ingredients are witty and insightful lyrics, melodic guitars, and a dynamic rhythm section. Add to that their fearless songwriting style and a passion for live performance, and youll have the complete recipe to this proud Idaho band. They may have zero Grammys or critical accolades to their name, but Audio Moonshine loves writing songs like Corporate Tool, which is dedicated to all of the people who need a good laugh while crunching numbers in a cubicle or songs like Idaho, where they poke fun at Utah, and also themselves for all of the places theyve never been.

The music of Jay Carros has made his home in music venues all over the East Coast. Hailing from Upstate New York, Jay Carros was discovered at a young age and has spent years perfecting his technical sound and unique style while captivating the hearts of fans and audience members around the globe.
Jay has personally studied with Joe Roma, as well as Chris Adams co-author of “The New Breed II” with Gary Chester. Jay continued his studies at Drummers Collective in NYC, and has also taken Music Recording and Production I, II, III, IV under the tutelage of Professors Robert Greaves and Dr. Eric Sheffield at SUNY Broome.
